Here’s another short look at some of the work I’ve been doing with Book on Tape Worm.
There is this seriously amazing band from Provo called Book on Tape Worm, if you’ve heard them you know what I mean. They’ve asked me to do some video stuff for them and I couldn’t be more excited about it. I’ve been following them around for a while shooting and will hopefully put together somewhat of a mini-documentary on the process of making their debut album. THE MODERN POST - GRACE ALONE
It’s kinda weird how put off I am by Christian rock lyrics, because I myself am a fairly active Christian. That being said, this new EP from ex-Thrice frontman Dustin Kensrue is better than I imagined. I don’t really know what I imaged, probably something along the lines of “Our God is an Awesome God,” or something lame like that. Check this track out, it’s called “Just As I Am.” Give it a chance.
So I guess since I’m not doing the radio business anymore doesn’t mean I can’t post music anymore. I’ve been digging this track a lot lately.

FATHER JOHN MISTY - FEAR FUN
I might like some of this more than the last Fleet Foxes album. Not that I can really compair it to FF, it’s definitely different, don’t get me wrong. But I guess one would automatically make the connection. It’s worth a listen for sure. The physical copy is pretty cool too. It’s fat.

So it looks like my days are numbered as music director. It’s been a good ride and I’ll miss all the new music. But, hold on to your butts, the next few weeks it’s coming at you hard. Yppah was a pleasant surprise. If you you like Tycho you’ll probably love this.This song is called “Blue Schwinn.”
